SSC CPO 2023 Application Process

The application process for SSC CPO 2023 is entirely online. Applicants have the option to submit their applications via the official SSC website. SSC CPO 2023 Application Fee

Male candidates from the General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/- for SSC CPO 2023. Nationality/Citizenship

  • The candidate must either hold Indian citizenship or can be a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • Candidates falling under categories 2 and 3 must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification

  • For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • For the position of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (limited to males), male candidates are required to have a valid LMV (Motorcycle and Car) Driving License on the designated date for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

Age Limit

  • The age limit for candidates is from 20 to 25 years as of 01st August 2023.
  • Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to specific categories, such as SC/ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen, and widows.

SSC CPO 2023 Selection Process

The SSC CPO 2023 Exam involves four stages of selection:

  1. Paper 1 (Computer Based Test): The first stage is an objective type test with sections on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in Paper-I will undergo physical tests to assess their physical fitness.

 Salary

Selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary as per the pay scale for Sub Inspector positions in Delhi Police and CAPFs. The salary for these posts falls under Level 6 of the ‘B’ Non-Gazetted category, ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400.

SSC CPO 2023 Admit Card and Result
