On its official website, the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is accepting online applications for 56 positions as Veterinary Officers. The Government of Himachal Pradesh’s Department of Animal Husbandry is hiring for these roles. On or before October 27, 2023, interested and qualified candidates may submit an online application for these positions. Candidates will be chosen for these positions based on how effectively they do in two stages, including the preliminary exam and the interview.

Educational Qualification
- According to the Indian Veterinary Council Act,1984(Act No. 52 of 1984), candidates must hold a B.V.Sc. and A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) degree from a recognized university.
- The State Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act No. 52 of 1984) should be registered with.

HPPSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The applicants will be selected after submitting to two different written exams that will be administered in two sessions on the same day, followed by a personality test.
Scheme of Examination
PAPER I
There will be a one-hour computer-based test (CBT) or offline screening test with 100 marks and 100 objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQ) with deducted points for erroneous or incomplete answers.
