The counselling sessions will be performed by a selection committee lead by the District Deputy Education Officers (DDEEs) on November 17 and 18, 2023. Positions may be applied for in any district around the state. Consequently, regardless of the number of open positions, counselling will be conducted in all areas. a) Shastri/Graduate in Sanskrit/Post Graduate in Sanskrit from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Shastri. b) Passing the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted by the State Government as per the guidelines framed by NCTE for this purpose. |
- DDEE will shortlist the candidates on the basis of merit as per the already prescribed procedure.
- DDEE will submit the details of shortlisted candidates to this Directorate and the overall merit list of the State will be prepared at the Directorate level. The number of candidates to be shortlisted by the districts under each category will not exceed the number of vacancies available under that category for the entire State.
- DDEE will submit the details of shortlisted candidates in Excel form as well as PDF form on prescribed format (Annexure-B). The details of shortlisted candidates should definitely reach the Directorate by November 25, 2023.
- The list of finally selected candidates for each district and the waiting list for each district will be prepared at the Directorate level and sent to the District level for further appointment and necessary action.
- Candidates will be allotted district as per their rank in the overall merit list read with their order of preference. The allotted district will be displayed on the DEE website. Mere listing of name in the shortlist drawn at the district level or overall merit list drawn at the directorate level does not confer any right on the candidate for posting. The appointment will be made after verification of documents in support of the eligibility criteria. The format of appointment letter will be uniform across the state and the sample will be shared by the directorate soon. The concerned Principal/Headmaster will take charge after verification of documents.
- The vacant seats due to the selected candidates not joining the charge will be filled by the concerned Deputy Directors from the waiting list within the prescribed period.
- The format of the appointment letter will be provided by the Directorate and DDEE is directed to issue the appointment letter as per the format approved at the Directorate level.
- DDEE is directed to paste a copy of these instructions on the notice board of its office and immediately upload these instructions on its official website for the information of the candidates.
