HPU Opens Portal for Downloading Admit Card; Centers Established in Shimla, Mandi, Dharamshala, and Hamirpur

 

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has recently released the admit cards for the upcoming postgraduate entrance examinations. These examinations are scheduled to start from 12th June and are conducted for admission to various postgraduate degree courses, including MA, MSC, and PG Diploma programs. Candidates who have applied for these courses can now download their admit cards from the HP University’s official portal. It is highly recommended that applicants obtain their admit cards in a timely manner to ensure their eligibility for the entrance exams.

The number of applicants for the MA and MSC entrance examinations this year has reached an impressive total of 20,556 students. These aspiring candidates are vying for admission to a wide range of PG courses offered by HPU. In order to facilitate a smooth examination process, the university has established examination centers in four key locations: Shimla, Mandi, Dharamshala, and Hamirpur. Each applicant has been allocated a specific center and roll number, which are specified on the admit card.

HP University to Accept Examination Forms until 24th June

 

For the PG degree courses scheduled to be held in June and July, Himachal Pradesh University is accepting online examination forms until 24th June. The university has provided a dedicated portal for students to fill out these forms. Students enrolled in the January batch of PG degree and diploma courses through IDOL, as well as those appearing for regular and reappear examinations of LLB, MTTM, BHM, etc., can submit their examination forms without any late fee until the aforementioned date.

After 24th June, late fees will be applicable. The entrance examinations for PG courses will be conducted at 43 centers across the state. Previous students can access the examination forms on the university’s website. Additionally, undergraduate students appearing for the upcoming even semester examinations will have the opportunity to fill out the examination forms for Division Improvement until June, as provided under special circumstances.

 

B.Tech Examinations of UIIT to be Conducted in Four Centers on 11th June

 

The University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT) at HPU will be conducting the entrance examinations for all five B.Tech courses on 11th June. These examinations will be held at four different centers located in Dharamshala, Mandi, Hamirpur, and Shimla. Students who have applied for these exams can now download their admit cards from the university’s portal. Prof. P.L. Sharma, the director of the institute, has confirmed the establishment of these examination centers. A total of 1,700 students have applied to take the B.Tech entrance examinations.
